LaJune FultonLaJune "June" Fulton, nee Reuss, 90, of Sparta, Ill., born on Feb. 19, 1926 near Oakdale, Ill., passed away at her Cedarhurst home in Sparta on Monday, Nov. 21, 2016.June was a banking clerk at First National Bank of Marissa and a farm wife laboring alongside her husband while caring for her two children. After her husband's passing she was a seamstress at Fancywork's in Marissa, Ill. June enjoyed quilting, reading, watching hummingbirds, puzzling, playing cards and other games with her family and friends. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Marissa, Ill.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Fulon who died March 19, 1994; Her parents Conrad and Pearl, nee Friemann, Reuss; sister and brother-in-law Arvella and Elmer Lehman; brother-in-law Dale Fulton; nieces, Nancy Lehman Young and Debra Lehman.Surviving her are two children, Gary (Marsha) Fulton and Amy (Dale) Helmers; two granddaughters, Kelsey Helmers and Laura Helmers; a sister, Blanche (Milton) Schmierbach; a brother, Elden (Marilyn) Reuss; sisters-in-law, Peggy Fulton and Lulabelle (Richard) Holloway; and many nieces, nephews and good friends.Memorials may be made to Friedens United Church of Christ.
