Kristina “Krissy” M. Miller, 40, of Upper Pottsgrove, PA passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at her home after a valiant fight against breast cancer. She was the wife of Albert S. Sell, with whom she celebrated her 13th wedding anniversary on October 23, 2016. The light of Krissy and Albert’s life was their daughter, Brittney. Brittney was more than Krissy’s daughter; she was also her best friend. Krissy was born on December 25, 1975 in Somerville, NJ. She was a daughter of Wade Miller and the late Shirley M. (Nikolich) Miller. Krissy graduated from Pottsgrove High School in 1994. For a number of years she was an aide at various elementary schools in the Pottsgrove area and also worked at the Wawa in Gilbertsville. She was a cheer mom for competitive cheerleading and accompanied her daughter all over the East Coast for competitions. She was also an avid Steelers fan. She loved spending time with her family especially her daughter, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She also loved Shaggy, the bichon poodle. One of her favorite things to do was go to her family’s cabin where she cooked more pounds of bacon over the years than can be counted. Krissy was adored by all who knew her because of her ever present smile and cheerful demeanor. Everywhere she went she ran into someone she knew or made friends out of strangers. She was a member of New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband and father she is survived by one daughter, Brittney M. Miller of Upper Pottsgrove, PA; one brother, Steven W. Miller, husband of Elizabeth “Beth” Miller of Upper Pottsgrove, PA, and two sisters, Michele, wife of William “Bill” Allen III of Gilbertsville, PA and Sherry, wife of Byrle Shirey of Adamstown, PA. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Viewings will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 6 – 8 PM at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St. Pottstown, PA 19464 and Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 10 -11 AM at New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2941 Lutheran Rd. Gilbertsville, PA 19525. A Funeral Service will take place at the church at 11 AM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery directly following the service.
