Peak, Kenneth Randolph,died peacefully on January 26, 2017 in Plano, TX at the age of 82. Kenneth is survived by his wife Florinda Peak; children, Kenneth Randolph Peak II his wife Kristi of Dallas, TX; Sandra Christina Peak her husband Jay of Plano,TX; Christopher Peak his partner Brian of Chicago, IL; He is also survived by grandchildren Sage and Clark. "Ken" was born on April 12, 1934 in Louisville, KY to James Peak and Tina Graves and the youngest of six children. He joined the US Navy in 1952 after graduating from Manual DuPont High School in 1951. He was awarded the National Service Medal and China Service Medal for serving in the Korean War. He graduated from The University of Louisville with a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering in 1961 and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He worked for Cummins Engine Co. until 2006. He moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1964 and met Florinda De La Parra and married on December 31st, 1965. His children remember him as a dedicated father, a witty man who loved fishing, animals, gardening, musicals and in his lifetime travelled to over 65 countries. Kenneth will be interred at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetary on Friday April 7th at 10:00 AM.
