Kenneth L. Bossingham, Sr. KENOSHA – Kenneth L. Bossingham, Sr., age 78, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at his residence. Ken was born on January 3, 1938 in Carson, ND the son of Harold and Lillie (Dahl) Bossingham. On May 5, 1969, he married Barbara Engelmann in Lake County, IL. Ken was an exceptional crop farmer during his lifetime. Later in his farming career, he worked for Ralph Mays Farming. Ken farmed until the day he could no longer physically perform the job. In his free time, Ken crocheted and loved to read old western books. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed working on them. Ken particularly enjoyed John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies. He loved to dance. Ken is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Bossingham and her fiancé Chad Londre; stepchildren: Gwen (Augie) Passehl, Dennis (Debby) Boyle, James (Rhonda) Boyle, and Brenda Boyle; daughter-in-law, Mary Nicla; grandchildren: Nikkolas Brimmer, Caoilfhionn (Tony) Taggart, Mackenzie Taggart, Dakota Bossingham, Jon Nicla, Lisa Matye, Bryan Matye, Dana (David) LaPoint, Heather (John) Gaddy, Amanda Waldhauser, Shelby Boyle, and Amber Lueck, and 5 great-grandchildren. Ken is further survived by his siblings: Delbert (Ruth) Bossingham, Helen Scherer, Dorothea (Ervin) Prust, Thelma (Byris) Haslid, and Lois (Ervin) Heim. Ken was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Bossingham, Jr.; stepdaughters: Pamela Stewart and Debra Boyle; stepsons, Patrick Boyle; and siblings Lillian Bossingham, Harold Bossingham, Jr., Merrill Bossingham, Evelyn Jones, Eleanor Mohr, Lawrence Bossingham, and Beatrice Zeller. A memorial service for Ken will be held on at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home, officiated by Colleen Vice. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 4:00 until the time of the service. Inurnment will take place on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. George Cemetery in Kenosha.
