Kenneth V. Kenaga1948 - 2014Kenneth V. Kenaga, 66, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, at St. Catherine's Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie, surrounded by his loving family.Ken was born on Jan. 22, 1948, in Wheaton, Ill., the son of the late L. Stanley and Mary Corbett Kenaga. He attended St. Joseph High School and graduated. Ken served in the U.S. Air force during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. Following his tour of duty he moved back to Kenosha and Married Sandra Mardoian, she tragically preceded him in death in 1993. Ken was an employee of the Kenosha U.S. Post office and was a letter carrier for over 37 years.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and, spending time in the outdoors. He also was an avid Chicago Bear fan.Surviving Ken is his son, Kyle Kenaga of Brighton, Wis., his loving companion and friend, Sharon Capozza of Kenosha, one brother, Kevin (Faye Yoshihara) of Portland, Ore., one sister Mary Rita (Charles Tom ) Jecevicus of Pleasant Prairie, five nephews; Charles Tom II, Joshua, Jacob, Jonathan Jecevicus and Craig Seidl, one niece Kristen Seidl. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Keith.A visitation will be held at the Proko Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 12, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 9091 Prairie Ridge Dr., Pleasant Prairie. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church.
