Kenneth Joe RoseBig SpringKenneth Joe Rose, 53, of Big Spring, passed from this life on Friday, May 19, 2017 in San Angelo, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Oct. 28, 1963 in Big Spring to Jimmy Edward Rose Sr. and Elizabeth Ann (Plumley) Rose. He married Susan Self on July 20, 1991 in Big Spring and was a truck driver for Wilbanks trucking for many years.Kenneth was preceded in death by his father.He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughters Kierstan Rose and Samantha Rose, both of Big Spring; a son, Blayne Perdue of San Angelo; his mother, Ann Booth of Ballinger; grandchildren, Sydney Claire Perdue, Elizabeth Ann Perdue, Jace Javier Valdez, Karleigh Denise Valdez and Elick Joe Valdez; his siblings, Ivan Rose of San Angelo, Amanda Hardy and husband Al of Farmville, North Carolina, Billy Rose and wife Darlene of San Angelo, Jimmy Rose Jr. and wife Valarie of San Angelo, Timmy Rose and wife Christie of Ballinger, Cathy Avalos and husband Peter of Midland, and Kevin Rose of Stanton. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Monday, May 22, at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 23 at the New Life Refuge Church in Ballinger with Rev. Kenneth Plumley officiating. Burial will follow in Wilmeth Cemetery.
