Hoffman, KennethKenneth L. Hoffman 77 was called home on August 17, 2017. He was born on September 2, 1939 to the late Sidney and Marcella (Johnson) Hoffman in Plymouth, Iowa. He attended New London High School and this is where he met the love of his life Darlene, they celebrated 57 years together together they raised three children. He was employed at Foremost Farms, USA and retired in 1999. Ken loved spending time with his family, watching NASCAR, doing yard work for which he enjoyed and was very meticulous about it along with he was always humble, smiling and happy. He was a person of few words, but always listened and was over the top thoughtful. He always was organized and always had something to show others. He is survived by his wife Darlene, three children; David, Mark, Jill (Mike), one brother Charles (Helen), three granddaughters; Krista (Andy), Amanda, Danielle, one great grandson Garrett and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Bill and Jerry and one sister-in-law Linda.The family would like to thank the staff of Appleton Retirement Community and Mary from ThedaCare for her loving care for Ken during his time of need. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at ST. MATTHEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH 129 S. Mason St. Appleton. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 with Pastor John Kuske officiating.
