Keith Hopkins was born March 23, 1961. He was the fourth of nine children born to Charles Sr. and Dolores Hopkins. His father, mother, Siblings Charles Hopkins., and Barbara Hopkins preceded him in death.

Keith’s Family moved to Maywood Illinois from Chicago Illinois at the age of four. He graduated from Washington grade school in Hyde Park high school.

Keith Joined second Baptist Church and became a lifelong member. He has always served on the usher board, functioning as a Sunday school teacher, Monday men’s night Bible study and as a member and teacher of the senior missionaries board.

Keith often chaperoned young people and one church retreats. These Christian retreat where is structured to enhance social skills and develop spiritual awareness in them. He coordinated banquets in prison it’s such Speakers is Ernie Banks and Billy Williams.

Keith retired from Illinois Bell as supervisor of operators services. It was reported that the Christian lifestyle he exuded on his job, as well as his management techniques were most encouraging and a blessing to both his staff and coworkers.

Keith leaves to cherish his memory 3 children, Ruthie Latrice Hopkins, JR. Keith Hopkins, and Angel Hopkins and Beloved Wife Justine Hopkins. A host of grandchildren,nieces, nephews,friends and God Children Kristina Bird and Latoya Martin.
