She was born on Thursday, December 13, 1928 to the late Leroy Dowhower and Julia Dowhower nee Neat in Palmyra. She was a member of Avon Zion United Methodist Church and retired as a manager for a hosiery company. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School in 1946 and enjoyed reading, playing pinochle and watching birds at Middlecreek. Kitty liked penny bingo and bible study on Tuesdays at Poplar Terrace with Steve and Nikki.Surviving are daughter, Patricia A., spouse of Henry P. Wallace, Jr., Lebanon; son, Eddie, spouse of Jean Rowe, Schaefferstown; grandchildren, Henry P. III, spouse of Tamy Wallace, Brian P., spouse of Brandee Wallace, Steven, spouse of Nikki Rowe, Andrew, spouse of Jennilyn Rowe, Yvonne, spouse of Mike Herr; great-grandchildren, Shyann Wallace, Alysha Wallace, Cassady Wallace, Corinna Rowe, Zane Rowe, Janelle Dietz. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert L. Rowe; brothers, Robert Dowhower, William Dowhower, Leroy Dowhower, Jr. She was the last of her immediate family.Viewing will be on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
