Juanita Olivares1962 - 2015Juanita Olivares, 52, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, at her home.She was born on Sept. 27, 1962, in San Antonio, Tex., the daughter of Gavino and Margarita (Sanchez) Evangelista, SR. She was married to Armando Olivares in Kenosha and they were members of St. Mark's Catholic Church.Juanita enjoyed being a waitress for 27 years at various restaurants in the area, where she brought smiles and good conversations too many of the customers she served, she was also employed by Motorola. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild, crocheting, an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and she enjoyed driving sports cars. Juanita is survived by her husband, Armando of Kenosha; her six children, Roxanna Salazar of Racine, Samantha Olivares of Racine; Sergio Garcia of Kenosha; Rubie (Luis) Rojas of Kenosha, Robert James Bosner of Tempe, Ariz., and Stevie Lynn (Efrain) Barible-Miguel of Kenosha; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; her mother, Margarita Sanchez of Dallas, Tex.; two brothers and three sisters.Juanita was preceded in death by her father and her son, Ismael "Sammy" Olivares.A visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Thursday, April 2, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
