Joyce Mary Lapompe was born on April 1,1944 to Georgian Williams and Anlond St.Clarie. Joyce departed this life on November 19,2018 at Linden Center for nursing and rehabilation.

Joyce moved to Brooklyn NY from Trinidad in 1962. She married Ralph Edward on Febuary 24,1973 and together they had three sons Rainer, Jonathan, and Mychael and a daughter Monique. She worked as an secretary at Sumner stores from 1973-1983. Joyce also worked for Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York for over 30 years. Joyce cared for over 150 children during her time working there. Joyce loved to cook and care for family she also love to go to Church ave and shop at Bobby's stores. 

Joyce leaves to cherish her memory her husband Ralph Edward, her 3 sons Rainer, Jonathan and Mychael and daughter Monique. One Brother Curtis Williams, Daughter in law Sakenya Lapompe, three grandchildren Tijuan, Rainer Jr, and Taliah. a host of nieces and nephews family and friends. Joyce is prececded in death by her mother and father Geogian Williams and Anlond St.Claire and her brother Harlod Miragian.
