Donovan, Joyce J.Joyce J. Donovan, 86, Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Wells Nature View, 601 East 21st Street, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 pm on Sunday until service time. Rev. Donn Radde will officiate. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery at a later date. Joyce was born on March 26, 1931 in the Town of Little Black, Taylor County, to Albert and Edith (Bernsee) Ortlieb. After graduation from Dorchester High School she was employed at Wausau Insurance Company in Wausau. She was united in marriage to Hugh J. Donovan on September 1, 1951 at the Holway Lutheran Church in the Town of Holway. In 1964, she and her husband started Marshfield Plumbing and Heating, Inc. She was secretary and Vice President. She also had a Bath Boutique Shop and retired in 1985. She belonged to several clubs and organizations in Marshfield. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Debra (Rick) Davis of Marshfield and 2 grandchildren, Jason (Cassie) Davis of Menasha and Heather (Shawn) Olson of Marshfield and 3 great grandchildren, Alisha, Blayke and Bentley. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Hugh on September 25, 2013. Memorials may be designated in her name to the Marshfield Fire Department.
