Josephine Duran, 90, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, in Las Vegas.She was born on Nov. 4, 1926, to Anthony Fresquez and Flora Maestas Fresquez in Las Vegas.She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. A Catholic, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas.She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Flora Fresquez; brother, Carlos Fresquez; and sons, Audie Duran and Ernest "Tudy" Duran.She is survived by her loving son, Bobby Duran of Las Vegas; daughter-in-law, Shirley Duran of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Julie Duran, Anthony Duran and wife, Eleanor, Ernest Duran III, Trena Boggs, Andrea Duran, Monice Duran, Christopher Duran and Bobby Duran Jr.; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Bella Falvey; brother, Johnny Fresquez and wife, Fabie; sister, Dorothy Coroneos, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.Rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at Rogers Mortuary Chapel in Las Vegas. Funeral Service will be conducted at 9 a.m. on Monday at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Las Vegas. The following will serve as casket bearers: Bobby Duran, Anthony Duran, Ernest Duran III, Marco Duran, John Fresquez and Tim Strahl.
