September 12, 1933 - November 10, 2016Joseph Richard Fredricksen of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on November 10th, 2016 at the age of 83. He was born on September 12th, 1933 to Fred and Mildred Fredricksen in Nebraska. He was preceded in death by both parents, wife Phoebe Fredricksen, daughter Cyndy Johnson and grandson Joshua Walker. He is survived by daughters Kandee Walker, Taunya Murphy (Gregory); Grandchildren Kim Ortego (David), Cristy Johnson, Phoebe Walker-Job, Megan, Malerie, and Matthew Murphy; great grandchildren Makayla, Samantha, Katie, Bailee, Jonathan and Jasmine; brother Fred Fredricksen and children John and Laurie; niece Sandy German and many friends. Visitation will be on Sunday November 13th, 2016 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City.
