Joseph Paul "Joe" Talerico1930-2016Joseph P. Talerico, 86 of Utica, NY and Pensacola, FL passed away on Mon., Dec. 26, 2016.He was born on Feb. 28, 1930 in Utica, NY to the late Paul and Beatrice Gaetano Talerico. Joe worked for the NY Central Railroad and the Utica, NY school system. He loved to dance and was a member in several dance clubs. He was also active in the Holy Name Society of St. Anne's Church. Everyone who met Joe liked him. He was known to many in Marcus Pointe where he would walk miles every day. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Grace; parents; and two sisters, Francis Lupia and Carol Rabbia.Joe is survived by his daughter, JoAnn Roberts; son in law, Ken Roberts; grandson, Andrew Roberts; Granddaughter, Tina (Kevin) Cancel; great grandchildren, Kendall, Cora, Kevin and Camryn Cancel; and special pet, Teddy.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Fri., Jan. 6, 2017 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father George Sammitt.
