Joseph Barnes, 66, of Buffalo, New York, passed Thursday, April 19, 2018. Joseph was born to John Louie Barnes, and Ruby Thears Barnes, December 12, 1951, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Joseph moved with his family to Winter Haven, Fl in 1955. He graduated from Jewett High School in Winter Haven, Fl. in 1968 and received a degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 1973. Joseph worked as a Supervisor at General Motors until he retired in 2008, and moved to Seffner, Fl. He also volunteered as The Past Patron of The Masonic Samson Lodge in 1968 - 2018 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. Joseph moved from Seffner Florida in 2015 to Buffalo, New York until his demise.

Joseph is survived by 8 children: Dameon Barnes, Derrick Barnes (Julia Barnes), Bernadette Barnes Smith, Eric Ivory Barnes, Gregory Barnes (Brenda Barnes), Dineisha Barnes Roberson (Johnnie Roberson), Michael Louis Barnes, and Jacob Barnes. He also is survived by 20 grandchildren, 4 Sisters, Tammy, Charlotte, Cynthia, and Gwendolyn. 3 brothers, Lamont, Willie, and John. A host of nieces, nephews, and God-children.
