Joseph S. Breceda, 100, of Yuba City passed away October 20, 2016. He was born on July 22, 1916 in Zacatecas, Mexico and came to Yuba City when he was young with his mother and sister. Throughout his life, Joe did various jobs, owned two businesses and was a long time member of the Comite Mexicano DE Beneficencia No.34.  Joe was a devoted husband who loved his family. His love for baseball included him playing for the Yuba City Bears, umpiring little league and being a die hard Giants fan. He also loved riding in his sons '56 Chevy Nomad and going to the car shows with him. Joe is survived by his son Armando, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren plus 1 on the way. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Josie, his daughter Mary Louise, a granddaughter Tammy and a great grandson Aaron. A public viewing will be held at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Isidores Catholic Church in Yuba City on Thursday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held immediately following the funeral mass at Sierra View Morturary.
