La Feria, TX - Jose "Little Joe" I. Loya III, 36, passed away to be with the Lord on December 5, 2016. He was born on November 3, 1980 in Stuttgart, Germany. He is survived by loving wife, Julie Mendoza Loya; his parents Jose and Gloria Loya Jr.; and his sisters, Leticia, Anna Lisa, and Laura (Steve). He is also survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jose Loya Sr.; Mrs. Dominga Villaseñor; aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. Jose is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jose Villaseñor Sr.; his nephew Zydane Guajardo; and his sister-in-law Melissa Ann Hernandez.Little Joe was a dedicated husband and an avid sports fan. He loved nothing more than BBQ when his favorite team was playing. Little Joe also loved sharing his wife's baked goods with everyone. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need. Joe graduate from La Feria High School class of 1999. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend his viewing at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 with the Rosary beginning at 7 o'clock at the church led by the Shoenstatt Mother Group of La Feria. The mass will commence at 2 o'clock on Thursday, December 8, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in La Feria with Fr. Carlos Zuniga as celebrant. Interment will follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park. Funeral services are under the direction of Trinity.Honorary pallbearer will be Joshua Mendoza. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Robert Loya, Manuel Loya, C.J.
