Reininger, Jon Roger "Ed"Jon Roger (Ed) Reininger, age 56, of 3002 South 10th Street, Manitowoc, died on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.Jon was born on December 8, 1959 in Manitowoc, son of Roger and Nancy (Scherer) Reininger. He attended Manitowoc Lincoln High School and later received his G.E.D. from Lakeshore Technical College (LTC) of Cleveland, WI. Jon continued his education at LTC, completing many courses over the years. On November 2, 1985, he married the former Lori Stuiber at Pine Crest Historical Village, Cato. Jon was employed at the Manitowoc Company and then with Federal Mogul for 14 years. He was then employed with the Holiday Inn, St. Mary's Home and the Hamilton Home of Two Rivers.Survivors include his wife: Lori (Stuiber) Reininger, Manitowoc; one son: Tyler Reininger, Manitowoc; his parents: Roger and Nancy Reininger, Manitowoc; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Annie and Dale Sprang, Racine, WI, Mary and Robert Martin, Beaver Dam, WI, Kelly and Dan Mauer, Mayville, WI; father-in-law and step mother-in-law: Ken and Germaine Stuiber, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Susan and Gary Busarow, Racine, WI. Nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Violet and John Reininger; maternal grandparents: Orley and Libby Scherer; and his mother-in-law: Ilene Stuiber.Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2 Xtremes Bar and Grill (3004 South 10th Street), Manitowoc.Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting www.pfefferfuneralhome.com.The Pfeffer Funeral Home and All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.Jon was an avid outdoors man, who was passionate about trapping, hunting and fishing.
