Jon Legere1937 - 2013Jon Legere, 76, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday June 25, 2013, at Kindred Kenosha North. Jon was born on March 14, 1937, in Hays, Kans., the son of the late Louis and Leta (Bechtol) Legere. He was educated in the schools of Kansas. He was a member of the U.S. Navy. He married Anna Elizabeth (Beth) Brown on Oct. 24, 1964, in Rosemead, Calif. He was employed at Arbitron for many years. His hobbies included being outdoors, working on the farm, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Anna Legere of Kenosha; a daughter, Naomi (John) Petravich of Pleasant Prairie; brothers, Claire Legere, Major (Loretta) Legere, Scott (Libby) Legere all of Kansas; sisters, Jane Jansen of Colorado, Josephine Gibson of Georgia and two grandchildren, Audrey and James Petravich of Pleasant Prairie. Jon was preceded in death by a sister, Maryann, and a brother, Don. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
