Jolenne Thompson or as we known her as "Sassy", 71, of Brooklyn, New York, passed Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Jolenne was born to Robert Jefferson, and Jean Marie Baptist, January 12, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York. She married Marcus Thompson in 1965, and they lived together in Brooklyn for 55 years until Mr Marcus retired to Florida in the early 2000s. Jolenne worked at Teacher both in the school system and in church.

This memorial is our way of honoring her in life not just missing her in death. On the back of this obituary we have left space for everyone to write their favorite memory with Sassy to share aloud or among yourselves. 

Jolenne is survived by 7 children: Robert Thompson (Alicia Thompson), Marcus Thompson Jr, Selena Whitmore (Carlton Whitmore), Byron Thompson (Jennifer Thompson), Christopher Thompson (Heidi Flute), Joann Bishop (Charles Bishop), and Desman Thompson (Jessica Thompson). She also is survived by 20 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren some biological, some adopted but all loved just the same.
