Johnny Witherspoon Jr was born on November 30,1945 in Chicago,Il. to the Late Lula Dell and Johnny Witherspoon Sr.

Johnny was affectionately known as Baybruh by his siblings and Spoon to family and friends. He attended Hirsch High School. He married his childhood sweetheart Daraline and they conceived two chidren. He later married his soulmate Jennice and they conceived two children together. They remained together until her death. Johnny was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He was a man of many talents, his hands were truly blessed. He could build and rebuid anything. He was a very knowledgeable and understanding man that left us with lots of gems to cherish.

Johnny made his transition on February 10, 2020.

He leaves to cherish his found memories. Children Charmeita Allen(Samual), Darren Walton(Nia), Johnny Witherspoon, Kematha Walton, Dionna Taylor(Brian), Brian Walton(Erica), and Danielle Ward. Loving Sisters and Brother Johnnie Mae Turner(who preceded him in death) Minnie Becton, Valerie Witherspoon, Aronold Witherspoon, and Carol Newhard(Jim). 21 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
