Johnny A Johnson, 69, a resident of Denver and formerly of Guadalupita passed away on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at his residence in Denver. Johnny was born on Feb. 14, 1945 to the late Stoney Johnson and Lorraine Johnson of Guadalupita.He is preceded in death by his father, Stoney Johnson; mother Lorraine Johnson; brother, Steven Johnson; grandparents, Delfino and Jesusita Griego; aunt, Bella Griego, and nephew, Lawrence JohnsonHe is survived by his sons, Curtis, Danny, Marty, and Juanito; daughter, Deleah; sisters, Marilyn (Speedy) of Albuquerque, Margie (Edmond) of Mora, Louise of Guadalupita, Betsy (Ted) of El Carmen, Yvonne (Alex) of Rainsville, and Brenda of Las Vegas; brothers, Billy (Cecilia) of Guadalupita, Benjie of Guadalupita, Stoney Jr. (Martina) of Las Vegas, numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The family, offers special thanks, to his family and friends. Especially to a very good friend, Carla, her husband and family, they were like family to Johnny.Funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at St. Gertrudes Church, in Mora. Burial will follow at the Guadalupita Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers, will be his nephews and nieces.
