John Andrew WilsonFort GratiotJohn Andrew Wilson, 80 of Fort Gratiot passed away on Oct. 22, 2017.He was born on Oct. 29, 1936 in Port Huron, MI to the late Harry and Alda Wilson. He married Catherine E. Gilmour on June 29, 1957.John served in the U.S. Army and worked at Prestolite until his retirement. He loved all kinds of hunting.He is survived by his three children, Sally (David) Dilks, Jonathan (Crystal) Wilson and Kathalene (Clifford) Adams; six grandchildren, Christopher (Cristen) and Kevin Dilks, Chelsi and John Wilson, Aaron and Christopher Adams; two great grandchildren, Ivan Wilson and Matthew Dilks; three sisters, Pat Anderson, Beverly Smith and Judy (Robert) Buckley; four sister in-laws, Betty Smith, Marilyn Gilmour, Nancy (Robert) Matthews, Sandra (Steven) Rajnay.He is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine; three brothers Harry Jr., Chuck and Vincent Wilson; sisters-in-law, Katie Wilson, Jackie Baxter, Beverly Hubble and Lois Patterson.Cremation has taken place, arrangements in care of, Jowett Funeral Home, Port Huron. A private memorial service will take place at a later date.Memorial contributions may be made to the V.F.W.
