John "Jack" Roberts, 88, Lebanon, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017 at Village of Lebanon.He was born on Dec. 16, 1928. He retired from General Electric and was a member of the American Legion Post 121.He is preceded in death by: his wife, Hazel Delores Miles Roberts; parents, Jessie and Madeline Roberts; and three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Roberts, Roberta Hess, and Barbara Watts.Survivors include: his daughter, Doris Stone of Bardstown; two grandchildren, J.D. Stone and Shauna Stone; great-granddaughter, Ava Danielle Nagelkerk; brother, William Keith Roberts of Bardstown; three sisters, Grace Griffieth of Florida, and Carol Ball and Elizabeth Hutchins both of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Barlow Funeral Home, Bardstown, with burial in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in St. Francis. Bro. Mark Mobley will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9 and from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10 at Barlow Funeral Home.Memorial contribution may go toward Hosparus or Masses. Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
