Van Grunsven, John R.John R. Van Grunsven, age 69, of Green Bay passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Patient Pines Assisted Living. John, son of Wilbert P. and Hazel (Strenn) Van Grunsven was born on June 19, 1947, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. John is survived by his children, Greg (Kim) Van Grunsven of Eau Claire; Anne (Rich) Burgess of Baraboo; grandchildren Eliot, Ethan and Landen Van Grunsven, Benjamin and Zachary Burgess; sister Janet (Stephen) Schmitt; brother Jeff (Char King) Van Grunsven; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.A memorial visitation will be held at Proko Wall Funeral Home, 1630 East Mason Street, Green Bay, on Sunday, March 26, 2017, from 4 p.m. until the hour of memorial service at 5:30 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
