Finnel, John "Jack" PatrickJack Patrick Finnel, 80, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2017 in Catonsville, MD. Jack was born on March 15, 1936 in Larrabee, WI to his parents Leonard and Florence (Bradley) Finnel. Following his graduation from Mishicot High School, class of 1953, he served honorably in the U.S. Air Force stationed in both Cyprus and Greece. Upon returning to America, he spent many years as a successful transportation and emergency services dispatcher. Jack married the love of his life, Ann Marie (Pohlman) Finnel on April 27, 1957 in Baltimore, MD where the couple would live the rest of their lives together with their beloved daughter, Joanna. Surrounded by friends and family, the couple celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2007. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and Traditional Irish Music lover who enjoyed playing cribbage and returning to Wisconsin for visits with his Larrabee and Mishicot friends and family. He was a lifelong member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Windsor Mill, MD and the American Legion. Jack was preceded in death by wife, Ann who passed away in 2010. He is survived by his daughter Joanna M. Rutkowski and her husband, Frank Jr., and cherished grandchildren, Lucie and Jackson. He is survived by both his sisters, Patricia Eis (the late Donald Eis), Mishicot, WI and Mary Lou and Kenneth Puta, Green Bay, WI. He was a wonderful Uncle to many nieces and nephews in both Wisconsin and Maryland. Funeral service, Christian burial and Military honors were performed on January 23, 2017 near his home in Catonsville, MD. We will forever miss our awesome Irish Father, Grandpa, Brother and Uncle knowing how happy he is to once more be reunited with his sweetheart Ann.
