GRIFTON - John Kenneth Franklin II, 3 months, died Saturday, October 8, 2011. John was born on June 21, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Marsha McLawhorn and a great-grandfather, Vernon Maples.
