John H. Bowles Sr.Long BranchJohn H. Bowles, Sr., of Long Branch, NJ, died on June 29, 2017. He was born on August 3, 1958 to Herbert G. Bowles, Sr., and the late Thelma Ann Hemphill. He was educated in the Tinton Falls school system and after graduation became a licensed electrician. He married Michelle Peace and their union produced six beautiful children.John leaves behind to cherish his memory his six children, John, Jr., Cherieka, Shanay, Cheran, Chanel, and Shaniequa; seven siblings, Gerard (Jeannie), Herbert, Jr. ( Novella), Carl (Cheryl), Bertha, Katherina, Rebecca, and Cecelia; six grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. until noon on Wednesday at St. Thomas AME Zion Church, Tinton Falls, NJ. The service will begin at noon. Childs Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements.
