CRALEY John D. Spyker, 73, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014, at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Karen Ann (Warner) Spyker who passed away in 2004. Mr. Spyker was born on April 20, 1941, in York and was the son of the late Paul and Leah (Strickler) Spyker. John was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Freysville. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Susquehanna Fish and Game. He enjoyed gardening and selling plants and flowers. He is survived by his two daughters, Alecia D. Spyker of Craley and Kay A. Spyker-Lonkart of Lewisberry. He is also survived by his two granddaughters, Allison and Elizabeth Lonkart. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Edna Saylor and Anna Saylor. A viewing for John will be held at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown on Thursday, July 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service to honor his life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 25 at 11 a.m. with a viewing from 10 a.m. until the start of the services.
