Joel GuerreroApril 24, 1978 - March 30, 2014Joel Guerrero, age 35, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away following an accident in Onterio, Oregon on March 30, 2014. He was born on April 24, 1978 in Pocatello, Idaho to Vicente and Carmen (Bedolla) Guerrero. He attended Pocatello Schools and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1997. He played soccer and boxed. He went to regional for the Golden Gloves in Portland, Oregon. He loved to listened to all types of music. Joel went to school to study business and construction management. He found a special interest while attending welding school and Idaho State University, Vo-tech. He became a very accomplished welder and loved his job. Joel married Holly Mayhew. Together they had two children, Logan Saul Guerrero and Abbigayle Joy Guerrero whom he dearly loved. Joel and Holly later divorced.Joel is survived by his parents, Carmen and Vicente; his brother Saul Gerrero all of Pocatello and his two children, Logan and Abbigayle.The family will receive friends, on Monday, April 7th at 7:00 P.M. at Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave in Pocatello. The Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, 11:30 A.M. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, St. Anthony's Chapel with Father John Worster, celebrant. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery and then family and friends will gather back at the church for a luncheon.
