Jode Lee Kirk Jode Lee Kirk, 58, husband of Julia Kirk, of Beaufort, SC passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Jode was born on March 25, 1957 in Brainerd, MN to "Pat" Pearl Kirk and the late Monte Kirk. Jode and his wife met while attending the University of Minnesota and married in 1980. His career took his family all over the country, ending in SC. They had two children, Jessica Kirk (Alexander) Trogstad and Brian (Jenna) Kirk. He is also survived by his sister Connie (David) Engan, mother-in-law Mary Sahli, sister-in-law Karen (Michael) Prasch, brother-in-law Matt Sahli, and multiple nieces and nephews.
