Joanne Overbeck72, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. She was born on August 29, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York as the daughter of Marvin and Maria Wandrie.She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1963. Joanne worked retail until she retired in 2009. After retiring, she enjoyed volunteering her time at Indianapolis Oasis. Joanne loved the beach, traveling, the color pink, glitter, and of course her wine and chocolate. Joanne especially loved being GG to her 9 great-grandchildren.Joanne is survived by her children, John (Brenda) Anthony Overbeck, Jennifer (Jerroll) Souder and Jill (Edward) Lumpkin; sister, Linda Middleton; grandchildren, Hugh and Antoinette, Ashley Marie, Andrew and Adrienne, and Chloe and Caleb; and 11 great-grandchildren.If you would like to celebrate Joanne's life, please send memorial contributions to Indianapolis OASIS, 10800 E.
