Joann Beth Fife passed away in her home on Nov. 25, 2016, surrounded by all three of her children, Rhonda, Cindy and D.J., as well as her beloved husband of 50 years, Garry.
She was born on May 20, 1945, to Henry Alvero Fisher and Vaunda Beth Jones. Joann spent 65 years of her life in Idaho, working in a high-end dress shop called LeVine's, as a teacher, a librarian and a stay-at-home mother and "Nana."
She was a cherished sister to Doyle and Randy Fisher and a treasured Nana to Katie, Brody and Shelby. Her family meant the world to her.
Joann was a multi-talented crafter and enjoyed oil painting, woodworking, counted cross stitch and crotchet, creating gifts for her friends and family.
She spent over 40 years of her life fighting various health issues, and she proved the doctors wrong time and time again, even until the very end.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W. Oak St., in Shelley.
