Albrecht, Joann "Jo"Joann "Jo" B. Albrecht, 67, of Van Dyne, died Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at home.She was born on November 3, 1949, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Sylvester and Hilda Rickert Abraham.On June 2, 1979, she married Robert "Bob" H. Albrecht at Redeemer Lutheran Church.Joann taught school at First Lutheran School in Racine, and Redeemer Lutheran School and Faith Lutheran School, both in Fond du Lac, for a total of 33 years. She was also employed with Adashun Jones Real Estate for over 16 years.Joann was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Van Dyne. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, rocking with them, reading to them, attending their activities, and taking them shopping. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Albrecht; two children: Matthew (Melinda) Albrecht of Omro and Jackie (Wally) DeVries of Fond du Lac; five grandchildren: Collin and Ethan Albrecht and Ellison, Clara, and Lillian DeVries; eight brothers and sisters: Lee Abraham of Wauwatosa, Darlene Gehrke of Oshkosh, Mardell Sonnenberg of Fond du Lac, Rhoda (Lynn) Hinz of Van Dyne, Gary (Cheryl) Abraham of Van Dyne, Arlys (Paul) Brown of Oshkosh, Dennis (Marilyn) Abraham of Fond du Lac, and Denise (Steve) Rozek of Rosendale; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, Richard Gehrke.VISITATION: The visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2017, at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac, and from 8:30- 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 55 North Prairie Road, Fond du Lac.SERVICE: The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev.
