Swiander, Joan M.Joan M. Swiander age 84 of Stevens Point, formerly of Portage street, died Sunday December 11, 2016, at the Azura Memory Care Wausau. She was under the care of Interim Hospice & Palliative Care. Joan was born on June 23, 1932 in the town of Linwood. Daughter of the late John and Katherine (Rucinski) Swiander. She attended local schools. Joan worked at Vetter's Manufacturing for 28 years. She enjoyed gambling, playing bingo, reading and walking. Survivors include her Daughter; Beverly (Duane) Przybylski of Amherst Junction Sisters; Betty Bella of Stevens Point and Dolores Deuel of Whiting. She was preceded in death by her sisters; Mary Gianolia, twin sister, Hedwig Kawlewski, sisters; Dorothy Hopp and Theresa Weisbrod. Brother; Frank.
