Jimmie Lee Whitworth, 80, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on October 22, 2014 at his home. He was born on February 9, 1934 in Durant, Oklahoma. Jimmie was very handy and enjoyed fixing things and helping neighbors. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was an avid S.F. Giant's fan. A special thank you is extended to Annie his social worker and VNA/Hospice, especially RN's, Zoila and Max. Jimmie is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sharon Whitworth, sons from his first marriage, Darrell, Kenny and Robby Whitworth, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, brothers, Norman "Hap" and Ed Whitworth, sister, Lou Powell along with other loving relatives. He is preceded in death by his son, Terry Whitworth and his parents, Jeff and Mae Whitworth. At His request, no services will be held. Cremation to take place.
