LA LUZ, N.M. - Jim Klofonda, 69, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at his home in La Luz, N.M. He was born on Monday, December 7, 1942 in Racine, WI to George James and Helen Johanna (Mianecki) Klofonda. He is survived by his wife Connie and all those who loved him. Rosary will be recited at by Paul Strunk at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church in La Luz. Memorial service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the church with Deacon Pete Schumacher officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church, PO Box 236, La Luz, NM, 88337. The Klofonda family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
