Jesus Ramirez, 64, passed away on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 in Las Vegas.He was born on Jan. 8, 1949 in Basuchil Chihuahua, Mexico, to Romulo Ramirez and Guadalupe Mapula.Jesus was a longtime resident of Las Vegas. He worked as a handyman and was a very funny man. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers and their families, his sister and also his friends.He is preceded in death by his parents, Romulo Ramirez and Guadalupe Mapula; brother, Francisco "Pancho" Ramirez; and sister, Eduniges Ramirez.He is survived by his brothers, Jose Ramirez and wife, Becky and family of Las Vegas, Carlos Ramirez and wife, Dolores and family of San Jose, Nestor Ramirez and wife Shirley, and family of Serafina, Manuel Ramirez and wife, Donna and family of Walsenburg, Colo.; sister, Luzelva Ramirez-Chavez and husband, Raul of Basuchil Chihuahua, Mexico; sister-in-law, Hilda Ramirez and family of Las Vegas; many nieces, nephews and friends.Rosary services will be held at 9 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas. Funeral services will be conducted following the rosary also at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Douglas Mitchell as celebrant.
