Jerome C. Gee1941 - 2013Jerome C.Gee, 72, of rural LaValle, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, July 26, 2013. He was born on March 21, 1941, in Antigo, Wis., the son of Oscar and Ione (Wickersheim) Gee. Jerome farmed in the Kenosha area and was also employed as a supervisor for 20 years at White Welding of Kenosha. He later moved to a farm near LaValle where he continued to farm and enjoy the outdoors. Jerome loved animals, but above all, he loved his family and cherished every moment he spent with them. His favorite family times were spent hunting, fishing, camping and traveling. Jerome also displayed classic cars in shows for several years, often times coming home with a trophy. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dean; brothers-in-law, Ken Buelow, Mike Wynn; and sister-in-law, Pat Gee. Jerome is survived by his children, Tammy (Andy) Prell of Kenosha, Dee (Steve) Melton of Plain, Tim (Lynna) Gee of Reedsburg; grandchildren, Joe and Nickie, Paul and Rachel, NaDean, Jordan, Jaycie, Beth and Mitch; brother, Roger Gee of Mazomanie; sisters, Elaine Buelow of Rock Springs, Phyllis Wynn of Goliad, TX; friend, Patti Moore of Baraboo. A celebration of Jeromes life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. A time of reflection will begin at 12 noon.
