Jennifer "Jenny" D. Fowler, 51Muncie - Jennifer "Jenny" D. Fowler, 51, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital.Jennifer was born on February 11, 1966, in Blue Island, Illinois the daughter of Jerry and Agnes (Cooley) Fowler and moved with the family to Muncie that same year.Jennifer attended Muncie area elementary and middle schools. She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1983 and attended Ivy Tech and Ball State University with studies in medicine. She was a very intelligent woman, she worked as an accountant doing tax preparation and also as a seamstress.She is survived by her daughter, Dylan Fowler whom she adored; parents; sister, Karen Fowler (fiancé, Brian Shaffer); brother, Eric Fowler (wife, Dolly); nephews, Eric Fowler Jr. (wife, Katie) and Logan Fowler; nieces, Samantha Fowler and Willow Fowler; and her favorite cat, Meela.Jennifer loved animals, rescuing many neglected kitties over the years. She had a unique ability to bring the weakest animal back to good health. Her favorite cat, Meela is an example to that ability.She had a big heart and a trusting soul, sometimes at her own peril. She wouldn't hesitate to help someone in need if she were able to, even if she were not able to. She was always someone you could depend on during a time of need. Jennifer had a fun, free, spirit, and was never afraid to speak her mind or stand up for what she believed was right. Even on her worst days, she could still joke and laugh.
