Jennifer Anne Poels at age 28, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on February 7, 1983 in Durango, Colorado. Jennifer played sports in high school and in college, including fast pitch soft ball. She was an avid runner and completed many marathons and runs. One of Jennifer's many accomplishments was a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and most recently her Masters in Business Administration. Jennifer is survived by her father, David Poels of Seattle, Washington; mother and step-father, Karen and Robert Evatt of Sandy, Oregon; step-brother, Gary Johnson of, Weeki Wachee, Florida; brother, Steven Poels of Phoenix, Arizona; step-brother, Richard Johnson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and all the many friends she spent time in laughter and happiness.Jennifer is preceded in death by her brother David M. Poels. Services will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Jennifer will be laid to rest with her brother at Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens.
