Jennie L. Cavazos, 79, died at YRMC on June 23, 2016. Jennie was born on December 1, 1936 in McPhee Colorado. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a vibrant, full-of-life individual who was always willing to go the extra mile. She will live in our hearts forever and be missed by many. Jennie is survived by her husband, Carlos Cavazos Jr., her daughter Stephanie Stephan, and her grandchildren, Heather Stephan-Pratt and Kyle Stephan. Also surviving are her 5 great grandchildren, sisters and brothers and many nieces and nephews. Jennie's family is grateful to the ICU staff at YRMC for the care and concern that was given during this difficult time. The viewing and rosary will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Johnson's Mortuary from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with rosary services at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30 am, 505 S Avenue B in Yuma. She will be laid to rest at Desert Lawn Memorial Park after the service.
