Prust, Jeffrey J.Jeffrey J. Prust, 57, Marshfield, died on Thursday, April 6, 2017 in the Emergency Room of Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Rembs Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time at Rembs Funeral Home. Jeffrey was born on July 2, 1959 in Neillsville, the son of Raymond and Gwen (Gerl) Prust. He was a 1977 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He married Mary Kay Mayer on August 25, 1984. As a young man, he was employed at Shell Service Station, and later was employed at Automated Products, both in Marshfield. Jeff enjoyed gardening and was a self-proclaimed "king of gardening". He also was a Packer fan and loved his dogs, Bear, Jake and Daphne. He was a jokester, extremely witty, very kind and caring. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela (Nicholas) Nagy of Oshkosh and stepchildren, Michael (Jennifer) Mayer of Kenosha and Nicole (Rick) Kaiser of Marshfield. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Haven, Colton, Peiton, Jagger, Brecken, Baylen, Ruby and Silas. He is further survived by his mother, Gwen Prust of Marshfield and brothers and sisters, Greg Prust, Debra (Verlyn) Rasmussen, Marilyn Smetak and Dave Prust, all of Marshfield and Gina (Jim) Bucki of Medford and step brothers and sisters, Danny (Carol) Johnson, Randy (Bridgette) Johnson, Cathy (Stuart) Christenson, Judie (David) Kalpinski, Julie (Larry) Kreighbaum, Lynette Kohl and Lisa (John) Licht. He was a memorable man that will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Raymond and Marge Prust and his stepsister Sue Swensen.
