Jeffrey Scott Ansell, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on December 9, 2016 in Denver, Co. He was born on June 8, 1960 in Denver Co. to Hawley B. Ansell Jr. and Dorothy R. Ansell. Jeff graduated from Longmont High School in 1978. Later went to Front Range Community College to take Electrical Engineering. After school he worked at Slack Horner Foundries and later went to work at Seagate Technology as a Technician Specialist. When Jeff was a child he was in 4H and also traveled around the US with Family. His hobbies were riding motorcycles, fishing, bowling, weightlifting, bodybuilding which he won 3rd place in Mr. Colorado, and coaching his kids little league team. He loved the ocean, swimming, palm trees, warm weather, California, and Boogie boarding. Jeff married Connie L. Carter of Longmont on February 21, 1981 in Longmont. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy R. Ansell, his Aunt Ruth Myrna Ansell, Aunt Janice Elizabeth Sterkel and his Niece Heather Comstock, his Grandparents John and Christine Sterkel, and Alice and Hawley B Ansell Sr. Jeff leaves behind to cherish memory a host of family that includes his wife Connie. His two children Katrina Elaine Wood and her significant other Nicholas Thackston, Jeffrey Scott Ansell Jr. and his wife Jennifer Ansell, his father Hawley B Ansell Jr. and his sister Holly Jean Comstock and husband Josh Comstock, and his five grandchildren, Anthony Wood, Ashley, Cody, Tyler, and Courtney Ansell. Celebration of his Life will take place at Howe Mortuary & Crematorium. 439 Coffman St. Longmont, Co 80501 on Friday, December 16 at 10:30am with reception following.
