Whiting, Jean Frances Jean Frances Whiting, 79, beloved friend and neighbor, passed away on October 28, 2016 after a valiant battle with cancer. Jean was born on June 17, 1939 to Clifford (Red) Whiting and Jesse O. Carpenter Whiting in Fort Defiance, AZ. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 1958 with a Bachelor of Education. Jean was a high school teacher in Las Vegas, NM for 33 years. She was an avid reader and loved doing genealogy research. Jean is lovingly remembered by Sharon C. Milne and her husband, David of San Tan Valley, AZ, Robert Ray of AK, and numerous second and third cousins. Funeral Services will be Friday, November 4, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at the Montano Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1100 Montano Rd. NW.
