Lois "Jean" WhiteSalisbury-Lois "Jean "White, 77, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on April 10, 2017. She was born on December 18, 1939 in Salisbury, MD to the late Lawrence and Daisy Daisey. Jean lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends, playing cards, camping and spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother to her children. She will be remembered as a volunteer at PRMC and lifelong member at Redmens Lodge in Fruitland, MD.Left to honor Jean and remember her love are Jean's five children, Elaine Hewett, Valerie Serman, Sandra (Michael) Mowbray, Lisa (Bryan) Piercy, and Bobbie-Sue Smith Hasson (Evelyn); grandchildren, Shannon (Chris) Stophel, Brandi (John) Crook, Lee Serman, Anne-Marie, Benjamin and Christopher Hasson; great grandchildren: Morgan, Hannah, Abigail, Claire and Christian; a sister, Alice Kiser; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents Jean was preceded in death by her sister, Marian Friedel, husband, John White, Sr., longtime companion, James Smith, and beloved son, Johnny White, Jr.A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2 pm at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
