Jean (Carbone) Heller, 93, of Southington, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at HCC at New Britain General. She was surrounded by her loving family. Jean was the wife of the late George O. Heller. She was born on Feb. 15, 1923, the daughter of the late Felice and Giovanna (Testa) Carbone. Prior to her retirement she had been employed by Superior Electric. Jean is survived by her son Reed Heller and wife Dawn of New Hartford and her daughter Elaine Williams and her husband Thomas of Burlington; a sister Julia Donahue of Simsbury; grandchildren, Jennifer Williams-Hicks and husband Ed, Kevin Williams and wife Ana, Kelsey Williams, Ryan Heller, Leandra Rosado and husband Jeffrey; great-grandchildren Jailyn, Elijah and Faith Rosado. She was predeceased by a sister Rose Saverese and brothers Robert and Chris Carbone. Jean's family would like to thank the staffs at the Summit at Plantsville and the Fresenius Dialysis Center on West Center Street for all the care and love given to her and her family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 at 11 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
