HAUSERJean (Lopez) Jean (Lopez) Hauser, age 74, of Toledo, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 6, 1942, to Will and Herma (Nickles) Hall in Wayland, Kentucky. Jean owned and operated the Acapulco Café with her family for many years in South Toledo, until retiring in the 80's. For the past 20 years, Jean lived in West Virginia with her husband, Ken. She was an avid reader, loved gardening, traveling and fishing. Jean also loved bird watching, especially the hummingbirds outside her patio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Lopez. Jean is survived by her husband, Ken Hauser; loving son, Tom (Colleen) Lopez; stepchildren, Kenny (Cheri) Hauser, Mike (Sue) Hauser, Diana (Chris) Moldas, Annette Neumeyer and Kevin Hauser; grandchildren, Tiffany, Briana (Jack), Tommy, Daniel and Ben; many step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; beloved sister, Norma Weemes; sister-in-law, Wilma (Denny) Helmick; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive guests on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) where Funeral Services will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider . The family would like to give a special thank you to Wilma Laid for all the love, care and support given to Jean while living in West Virginia. They would also like to thank her sister Norma and her daughters, Susan and Elizabeth, who lovingly cared for her in their home during her last days.
