Jean Harrelson Parker Martin Jean Harrelson Parker Martin, 71, widow of Thomas A. Parker, Jr, and Leonard "Lenny" Martin, Jr. of Beaufort, S.C., passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Port Royal Baptist Church with interment at Beaufort National Cemetery. Jean was born on August 29, 1944 in Conway, S.C. to the late Oliver Harrelson and Jessamine Edmondson Harrelson. She retired from the Beaufort County School System. She was a member of Meadow Brook Baptist Church and attended Port Royal Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Renea Parker Morales; a son, James Michael Parker; step son, Leonard Martin III; step daughters, Windy Mixon and Gena Gommer; grandchildren, Katie Morales Andriot, Taylor Brunn, Morganne Parker, Jordyn Parker, Amanda Parker, Ashley Parker, Autumn Parker, Amber Parker and Jace Parker White; five great grandchildren; five step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Thomas A. Parker, III; and two brothers, Jimmy Harrelson and Larry Harrelson. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She touched many hearts and was a beautiful, happy, and fun loving woman who always had open arms for everyone.
